Making its worldwide debut at this year's Toronto International film festival, Shawn Ku's gripping drama "Beautiful Boy" produced by Eric Gozlan's Gold Rush Entertainment and First Point Entertainment continues to receive critical acclaim for stellar performances by actors Maria Bello and Michael Sheen.
The film, which won TIFF's prestigious International Federation of Film Critic's Discovery award has been accepted by both the 2010 San Sebastien International film festival and the 2010 Tokyo International film festival where it is rumored to be in the running for a number of other top-level international awards.
English language rights were picked up by Anchor Bay who paid 7 figures for the chance to distribute the picture world-wide.
