Understanding 3D Movies

Call of the Wild, by Gold Rush Entertainment, is a 3D remake of Jack London's famous story. This film, with executive producer Eric Gozlan, is an interesting foray into the world of 3D.

What exactly is 3D? It refers to something that seems to have width, height and depth. Usually, when you watch a film, it has just width and height. Here, there is perceived depth. The way that it is done is actually a trick on the eyes. The brain is made to believe that there is depth, when in reality there isn't any depth.

While most people think that 3D is a new invention, the original 3D movie was actually from 1922! The film was called The Power of Love. Obviously, 3D has come a long way since then!
