This film is in the horror/thriller genre and was written by John Sheppard and directed by Brenton Spencer. Nina Dobrev stars in the role of Loren Hansett, the girl that lives next door. Kevin Sorbo plays Redd Tucker, the television hunting show host who has seen better days. Jared Martin, the mysterious new neighbor, is played by Peter Stebbings. Sean O’Neill appears in the part of Steven Kepkie, Loren’s friend who believes Loren’s suspicions about Jared.
In short, “Never Cry Werewolf” is about Loren Hansett, a teenager who does not welcome her new next-door neighbor, Jared Martin, with the same warmth and love that all the other neighbors seem to experience. Loren begins to spy on Jared and begins to suspect that he may be responsible for a recent murder in the area. The suspense builds as Loren, Redd Tucker and Steven are the only ones that believe Jared is to blame, and that he will soon come after them.
